WHO ARE FLOWTECH

Flowtech was set up by Luke Van Der Veen in response to increasing demand for a personal service in the Wellington mountain bike community.

​

Luke has years of experience working on mountain bikes, ranging from helping people get into the sport on entry level bikes through to working for elite World Cup level athletes and their high-end custom performance bikes.   

​

Specialising in suspension servicing and wheel building,

Luke has worked as a mechanic in shops in both the UK and New Zealand and spent time in Europe riding and racing before moving to New Zealand in 2019.

As a rider Luke loves pushing bikes to their limits in some of New Zealand’s most dramatic backcountry terrain.
